Having a Ball with Fitness
This session will provide the participant with the information necessary to use GYMNIC/PHYSIOROLL balls in their programs to develop balance, rhythm, coordination and strength. Not only will they receive information on how to choose the right size ball, but how to inflate, address safety procedures, manage and care for the ball to get the maximum use from it. Incorporation of content standards and benchmarks will also be included. The format will include developmental skill progression with the ball and how to design activities to include rhythm and dance, balance, flexibility, muscular strength and cardiorespiratory fitness, games and manipulative skills.
