| MASSPEC Day: Wellness Technology: It Gets Their Attention |
| Driftwood has developed a state award-winning program based on the use of technology in their physical education program. As a school-wide magnet with a health and wellness theme, Driftwood has used technology to get their kids hooked on wellness. This multimedia presentation will discuss the use of heart rate monitors, five computerized fitness assessment machines, electronic clipboards and a cpmputerized stress management program. Participants will view our physical education classes, health classes, theme classes and how, with the use of technology and our high tech Wellness Center, these classes are designed to teach the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices. |
