Academic Major’s Clubs—Strategies for Success: Start-up, Development and Professional Benefits |
Students from various Major’s clubs in the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department at Plymouth State College will present and discuss the benefits of club participation in their overall college experience. A panel of students and alumni will share and reflect upon their experiences as leaders and participants. Topics will include organizational models, professional development activities, service activities, mentoring, recruiting and the role of advisors. Feedback from alumni about how club participation aided their transition into professional life will also be discussed. |
