Promoting Successful Teaching and Learning in College and University Activity Settings
The purpose of this session is twofold. First, this session will focus on the college/university activity learning environment including teaching, strategies, student learning styles, skill development, game play, assessment and course grades that foster a lifestyle of activity. Second, this session will address how teaching may be evaluated in both formative and summative manner, and what constitutes effective teaching in physical education. Session participants will gain greater insights into the clinical supervision process and how it can be adapted from classroom settings to the teaching of physical activity.
