Have a Safe Adventure
Interested in beginning a safe adventure program or making your present program safer? This program will demonstrate how to conduct activities that are perceived by the participant as high adventure yet are safe to do. Emphasis will be placed on creating a safe environment and how to use a variety of safety equipment. Topics such as selecting and developing activities appropriate for various developmental levels and arranging them in progression will also be conducted. Demonstrations and audience participation will make this a valuable workshop for the practitioner. Handouts will be posted on the web so that participants may download them.
