International Perspectives: New Physical Education Concepts for the 21st Century |
Audience will learn how to make school systems proactive and develop positive perceptions of physical education rather than utilizing it as a "repair shop" program. They will learn about the contributions made by German Gymnastics and Physical Education in Modern Unified Germany to promoting physical education in the world. China's new concept of "Health is the number one concern in the educational system of China" and integration of "Joyful Physical Education" and "Fitness for All" will be explained. Hong Kong is adopting "student focused" and "no loser" concepts of physical education for the 21st century. |
