Integrating On-Line Discussion/Reflection into PETE Courses
As we prepare the next generation of professionals to teach physical education in our schools, we must insure that these students are provided with quality programs. One aspect of a quality program is the integration of reflection into both course work and clinical experiences. This reflection upon theories, teaching experiences, or current issues, is vital as students formulate their knowledge base and construct meanings. Experiences using HyperNews in three different courses will be shared and suggestions for effective use and dialogue with other professionals on this subject will be addressed.
