Run, Jump and Bounce with your Preschoolers: Fifty Ideas for Fun
Attendees will learn about teaching methods that specifically encourage the young child to “stay with” an activity long enough to progress to a higher-level skill through repetition and practice. Learn to create and refine activities that motivate students to become involved for the sheer pleasure and fun of the activity. Expand your repertoire of teaching activities using music, stories, movement and novel equipment. Share successful ideas for activities in open discussion with other workshop participants. Learn to make equipment such as wands with streamers, masks, story props, and music tapes for use in the classroom and/or activity room.
