Toddlers as Movers & Learners |
This session will describe the characteristics of very young children and offer
suggestions for selecting appropriate movement activities for children as young
as 1, 2, and 3 years old. Suggestions will also be shared for classroom management
and delivery techniques for this age range. Slides from several classes of toddlers
will showcase the suggestions made in the session. Handouts will include
developmental justifications, activity ideas, and implementation suggestions. |
