Keeping Your Head Above Water: Teaching Adults to Swim |
Adults learning to swim have unique psychological needs different than those of children. These unique characteristics of adult learners will be identified and discussed. Motivational strategies to encourage the adults to utilize their newly acquired skills for fitness will also be discussed. |
