Outdoor Explorations for All Abilities
Whether it is changing people’s perception about disability or opening up the world of kayaking to an individual who did not think it was possible for them to paddle, Outdoor Explorations has been providing people with and without disabilities the opportunity to challenge their limits since its inception. Interactive discussion and hands on activities teach professionals how to bring together people of all abilities in outdoor recreation programs. Through practicing the operating principles of inclusion used by Outdoor Explorations, professionals learn to make activity adaptations and create safe environments for people of all abilities to take risks and experience success.
