Health Education Activities for Students with Special Needs |
This session will present a program designed to assist educators in providing health education to students with special needs. Group cooperatives and hands-on activities that are used to teach life skills and other vital health related information will be presented. These lessons, designed specifically for students with special needs, provide an opportunity for greater success by allowing students to build upon life experiences for a greater understanding and mastery of the material. Attendees will participate in activities and demonstrations and develop a lesson plan book of activities. |
