Experiential Learning Opportunities Through Conservation and Outdoor Leadership Training
An overview and reported outcomes of an intensive off campus semester program for university undergraduate students designed to enhance outdoor leadership and environmental stewardship skills. The program focuses on leadership theory and land management practices coupled with field experiences including backpacking, rock climbing, mountain biking, mountaineering, canoeing and desert survival. A visual and discussion format will take you through the program’s inception, design, purpose, field experiences, outcomes and benefits.
