Creating Outdoor Education/Recreation Legacies: Intergenerational Activities in the Curriculum
Outdoor education/recreation extends, compliments and reinforces educational goals and objectives. Creative use of curricula lead to meaningful learning experiences for children of all ages. One way to create legacies for future generations is to utilize older adults and children in the teaching and learning of skills in outdoor education/recreation. Demonstration of intergenerational techniques and experiential activities will be incorporated into the presentation.
