SWIM BASICS: The W.E.T. Way to Teach Swimming
Water Exercise Techniques (W.E.T.s) are an invigorating way to work out, stretch, rehab, and cross-train in shallow water. W.E.T.s can also be the basis of learning and reinforcing fundamental swim skills. Based on Dr. Jane Katz’s new video, SWIM BASICS uses W.E.T.s to detail the elements of swimming so that a novice swimmer can learn to swim. For intermediate swimmers, W.E.T.s are used to review basic water skills and stroke techniques, and to refine their swimming strokes. (Dr. Katz’s The W.E.T. Workout® and SWIM BASICS programs are both available in 30 minute VHS format). So get energized, take the plunge and join us poolside and HAVE FUN! (B.Y.O.B. – Bring Your Own Bathing Suit!).
