Foundations in Movement: The Brain/Body Connection
A brain compatible process—movement-based active learning—strengthens students understanding and application of movement concepts. Teachers can support students more effectively by using this movement-based active learning process that adds purposeful movement and language (movement thought about, planned, and described) for skill development. Each student’s physical education foundation is thus reinforced with concrete experiences for their motoric and cognitive development. Educate elementary students kinesthetically for lifelong success. Help them make “FUNdaMENTAL” connections for learning.
