Holistic and Complementary Therapies in Health Education |
The purpose of this presentation will be to explore the practices that are part of a holistic and complementary health regimen and the role of health educators in providing information to the public regarding these practices.
Practices such as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) will be examined including looking at the relationship of such practices to health, and promotion of a cross-cultural exploration of holistic and complementary medicine to prevent illness and disease. |
