Integrating Line & Circle Dances Across the Curriculum |
Come, Learn, Enjoy! Line and circle dances found in international folk dance are appropriate and appealing for 2nd grade – high school. Many curriculum concepts can be reinforced through these dance forms, including: language and literacy, math, science, music and physical education. The dances will be presented sequentially using the Teaching Model of Education Through Movement, utilizing the SAY & DO process to insure success for every learner. The session is supported by a set of materials to enable participants to immediately begin the teaching process. |
