Submitting to Dance Publication: Translating Styles for Different Audiences |
There are just as many ways to publish & profit as to perish—dance books, journals, other magazines, newspapers of all frequencies, online, outside the country—but each requires a specific language for its audience. Experts from the writing & publishing field will make brief presentations on this topic and then invite questions. Lead Speaker K.C. Patrick is a professional journalist who is currently Senior Associate Editor for Dance Magazine with responsibility for Education, Reviews and Special Projects. In a former life she has taught dance at the community level and holds a teaching certificate from the Royal Scottish Dance Society. |
