Dance in Private Studios: Pursuing Partnerships with UNITY |
Territoriality & misperceptions often result in an atmosphere of competitiveness in privately owned dance studios, K-12 schools and college dance programs. This divisive atmosphere causes confusion & distress to students, the general dance community & its support systems. How can effective partnerships be formed? Presenters for this panel are the co-chairs of UNITY, a non-profit coalition of dance education organizations committed to facilitating communication among dance educators and the public. Share your experiences with partnering—open the window to communication & respect among all dance educators. |
