NO FEAR! Dance
This presentation will highlight dance activities for those instructors who have been in denial and have avoided teaching dance! “Tricks” to include rhythms in your program without fear of student revolt, “painless” partner selection with no objections, dances for the rhythmically challenged, and simple progressions for teaching a dance from kindergarten through the intermediate grades will be highlighted in this presentation. A wide variety of developmentally appropriate rhythms and dance will enable participants to take the “fear” out of teaching dance.
