A Model for Competency Based Internship Programs in Health Education
This session will present a model of what has been done to bring the internship program for community health education in line with the roles and responsibilities of entry level health educators. Criteria for selecting qualifying agencies, form development for student assessment of agencies, on site visitations, methods for documenting time spent within the competencies, and establishing partnerships with agencies are the highlights of this session.
